Privacy policy

Short version: we use what you send us to quote your project and talk to you about it. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone who is not working on your job.

What we collect

When you fill in the quote form on this site, you give us your name, phone number, email address, the service you are interested in, your project address or ZIP code, and whatever you write in the description box. That is all of it. We do not ask for payment details, and the form never will.

When you call or email us directly, we keep whatever you tell us in that conversation for the same reasons.

Form submissions are delivered to the customer-management system we use to track jobs and follow-ups. It holds that information on our behalf and under our instructions, and it is not allowed to use it for anything else.

What we do with it

• Call or email you back about your project, usually within one business day.
• Work out a quote, which sometimes means visiting the address you gave us.
• Order materials and schedule the work if you hire us.
• Follow up afterward to make sure the job is right.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or hand it to marketing companies. If a licensed plumber or electrician needs your address to work on your job, they get that and nothing more.

How long we keep it

Quote requests that do not turn into work are kept for about two years in case you come back to the project. Records for jobs we completed are kept longer because Florida contractor record-keeping and warranty questions require it.

This website

The site does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies. It stores one small item in your browser to remember whether you have already seen the site during this visit, and that item never leaves your device. The site is served over an encrypted connection.

Your choices

Ask us to delete what we hold about you and we will, unless we are required to keep a record of completed work. Ask us what we have on file and we will tell you. Call 850-736-9938 or email sam@hemkenconstruction.com.

Children

This site is for homeowners arranging construction work. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
